Six more days to Fellowship!
2001-12-14 @ 11:18 a.m.

The library is actually a vastly unrewarding place to work. At least if you happen to be a page. The experience is best summed up in a quote from "Apocalypse Now":

"Every day I build a bridge; and every night Charlie comes and blows it up."

Every day I reshelve dozens upon dozens of books paying strict attention to the Library of Congress filing system or alphabetical order. The next day, the stupid bloody children have, again, pulled dozens upon dozens of books off of the shelves or have simply shoved them back where ever it happens to be convienent.

Oh, well. Not to much longer and I'll be gainfully unemployed.

Now to finish may Christmas cards. Oh, bloody hell, I need stamps.

Thought for the day:

SNOW, DAMN IT!
