So, what, it's been four days since Colombia? I'm still in the "I need to bake these families a casserole" frame of mind. I really didn't think it would affect me so much. I mean, for good or ill, I'm not an emotional person. But geeze.

I was looking for books for my research paper today. It was a cool topic until Saturday, when it became horribly timely and substantially less fun. I found this old NASA publications coffee table book. I then proceeded to try not to cry as I looked through 1985 pictures of Columbia and Challenger. It touched my heart in a very Temple of Doom sort of way. Goddamnit; I need to go to class.

Other, more personal events have convinced me that this is just not a good week for any one. My thoughts are with the Trynohas and the Chans.
