Ah, the first day of school. I've already survived the freezing commute (why was I not informed the the CTA raised its rates starting January 1st?) and the first syllable dog and pony show of the day. Having an 8:30 really isn't that bad; I'm generally lucid by then and the class (American History 1800-1900) sounds like it'll be interesting. My professor also has the distinct possibility of being very cool. So we'll see how that goes. Now to go buy my book and get mt bleeding U-Pass.
